It turns out that internet marketing is actually going to take a little bit of work on my part! For some reason, some part of me thought it would be uber easy and I’d basically make $100k in my first 2 weeks. Yeah, didn’t happen. I’m finishing up week three here and am realizing that just like any other business, internet marketing takes hard work and a decent amount of time…
Speaking of time, Eben’s videos that I received have a guessestimated total time of 36 hours! I hope to start them around day 45 or so.
It looks like I may end up having like 4 or 5 blogs. This blog, one for MLM marketing, one for the thirty day challenge and maybe one or two more for various projects I’m working on. I’m trying to take the advice of Brad Fallon from StomperNet to basically work on one project at a time, see it through to completion, and then start another one. I don’t know though; it may be easier to do all of the blogs at once in assembly line fashion.
Market Samurai:
As part of both the 30 day challenge and StomperNet, I have gotten access to a program called Market Samurai. The more of the 30 day challenge videos I watch, the sweeter I think Market Samurai is! I am getting a bit frustrated with how slow it runs on my computer though. I just keep telling myself that in a month, if I persevere and make this happen, I can maybe get a new computer… and I NEED one badly!
So Market Samurai is sweet because it makes keyword research, SEO competition tracking, and finding affiliate marketing products a cinch, plus, it does a bunch of other things I haven’t figured out how to use yet. I’m only on day 4 of the 30 day challenge so I’m still figuring it out. You can find a link to where you can test drive Market Samurai on the new Tools page.
I also started StomperNet’s Incubator program which is for newbies. I’ll be doing them both simultaneously.
In Other News:
I met with Jason again today and we’re working on a SICK idea for a company. I’ll be able to use everything I’m learning about internet marketing (and hopefully the profits thereof) in the building of hype for our product launch. Stay tuned for more details on that…
Until Tomorrow,
-Matt
